Bird of Prey is San Francisco bay area native Torin Goodnight. Creating electronic music for close to a decade, he has developed a unique and very distinct sound that hybridizes various genres, fusing the swirling sensibilities of psychedelic sound with hard hitting dubstep and breakbeat elements.
Inside the Dreamcatcher EP Torin combines incredibly clean production, glitchy dynamic layers, thick juicy bass, impeccable edits and intelligently evolving composition; all within a vessel that holds a full dynamic range vibrationally deeper than most soundsystem experiences. Easily sitting inside Dubstep, Breakbeat, and Psydub moments – Bird of Prey transmits a confidently diverse palette of sonic treats that in one moment defies genre, while somehow simultaneously defines his individual sound.
