The Addictech Crew hears a lot of bass music. We love it. It motivates our lives. For real. It’s time to expose a new talent that we guarantee will be a new force in bass music, Vinja! All hype aside, we are truly excited by Vinja’s music, and have been trying to raid his hard drive for years. Finally we have the opportunity to begin to help expose him to the hardcore family of people ready, willing, and able to bump his bass across hyperspace.
Vince studied electronic music in the Electronic Music Studios program at the University of California at Santa Cruz. In 2005, he co-produced music under the pseudonym Antiserum and has since released on several labels, including Mode, Argon, Full Melt, Cyberfunk, and Muti Music. In 2009, he began producing and performing his own style of glitch-hop and dubstep under the alias Vinja. Currently living in San Francisco, where he teaches MIDI and Game Audio at Expression College for Digital Arts. He has taught a wide array of subjects, from post-production for film and game audio using Logic, WWISE, and the Unreal Editor to music production classes in Ableton Live, Max/MSP, and now Max for Live.
The Voyger EP is a bangin 2 track release, with exactly what we want to hear rocking the subwoofers. Tried, tested and true – bass warbles around broken beats, wicked leads, and thizzed up arpeggios – this party music is for the late crowd deep into a big night out.
This is just the beginning… with much more to come in 2011, expect to see Vinja become a prolific new member of the Addictech Records family!
