Luke Mandala
March 2015 saw a new multi-genre album released with remixes from these well known artists: Desert Dwellers, Bluetech, Kaminanda, Govinda, and Adham Shaikh. With Luke’s dynamic performances, depending on the crowd, you may encounter an eclectic mix of global sounds from the genres of world downtempo dance music, techno/house, and chill out. Luke’s music is intentionally part of the massive movement of culture shifting and mind opening dance floors transforming the planet. It speaks to the heart and flows through inspiring and intense emotive movements, flying through the cosmos or the deepest primal caves; warmly releasing the listener to body movement, inspiration, unification, and play. Luke's deep passion with music was ignited at the age of 14 from the open minded underground electronic scenes of the 90’s - and that was the year he started DJing. In 2007 Luke started releasing his own music and now in 2015, with hundreds of released tracks and remixes, Luke has had numerous releases in the top 100 of Beatport’s tech house, breaks, electronica, and chill out charts, as well as #1 at Addictech.com.
His music has flown him out to 4 different continents with events such as Beloved Festival, Zuvuya III Festival (Palenque, Mexico), Motion Notion Festival (BC),festivals, Serenity Gathering, Cascadia Festival and the Inspire Truth new years event in Portland. Luke's extensive release catalog is released with many of the biggest labels releasing music such as Desert Dweller’s label Desert Trax, Dave Seaman’s label Selador, Eelke Kleijn’s label Outside The Box, Booka Shade’s label Booka Shade Music, John Acquaviva’s label Definitive Recordings, Addictech, Traum, Innerflight, Shameless, Tulipa, Manual, Uniting Souls, Baroque Records, and over 20 more. His tracks have gained plays and/or chartings from high profile DJ's such as Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Desert Dwellers, Robert Babicz, Beltek, Boris Brejcha, Brad/Dela Moontribe. Luke's remix of Booka Shade's "Regenerate" was released on Booka Shade Records and was featured on Anthony Pappa's cover mount CD of DJ Magazine. Activated Recordings (Beatport) was launched by Luke in November 2008 with a large roster of well known artists.
